Anita Baker Calls It A Career
At one time, famed songstress Anita Baker was giving us the best that she's got. That's no longer the case, however. The "Caught Up In The Rapture" singer took to Twitter, of all places, to announce that she was hanging up her coat with one simple tweet: "Lotta rumours out there. No Tour. No CD. #Retired." While the announcement left many of her fans singing the chorus of her hit "Talk To Me" ("What's wrong, wrong with you?"), Anita appeared unbothered as she tweeted pics of her lounging beachside and made sure to include a shot of her many awards lined up in a cabinet. We can't say we're not shocked, but when your career includes four platinum and two gold albums, not to mention eight GRAMMY wins, you deserve to enjoy the spoils. #ForShesAJollyGoodFellow
