DMV Bouncers: Join SoulBounce At 'A Love Bazaar' For Classic Throwbacks, To Buy Black & To Give Back

SoulBounce's DMV family and friends are invited to come hang with us at our first event of 2017, A Love Bazaar, scheduled to take place at Smith Public Trust in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, February 12th!

The theme for A Love Bazaar is "Throwbacks, Buy Black, Give Back," and the event will be an opportunity for DMV Bouncers to gather together to hear some music that we love, support Black women-owned businesses that we love and donate to a cause that we love. It only makes sense to celebrate the things that we love on the weekend before Valentine's Day, and to keep it black and powerful for Black History Month. There'll be lots of #BlackGirlMagic in the building courtesy of the female artisans and vendors who'll be there, and our resident Mixologist dj harvey dent will be in the house to bring us some #BlackBoyJoy, too, as he moves the crowd with nothing but old school R&B, soul, hip-hop, funk, disco -- you name it! -- classics.

Our partner charity for A Love Bazaar is Project Hygiene, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged youth, ages 10-18, by promoting health and wellness while denouncing bullying. SoulBounce loves the kids, so we fully support Project Hygiene's mission of uplifting and empowering youth and creating safe and healthy environments for them. Attendees to A Love Bazaar are asked to bring one new, unopened toiletry item for women or men that will be collected and donated to Project Hygiene.
