Rihanna Named As Harvard's Humanitarian Of The Year
We already knew that she was a bad gyal, but Harvard University is recognizing Rihanna for being something else: a humanitarian. The "Diamonds" singer was named Harvard's 2017 Humanitarian Of The Year in recognition of the singer's efforts to improve cancer treatment in her native Barbados and offering a college scholarship through her Clara and Lionel Foundation to help Caribbean students study in the U.S. Rih will accept the honor in a ceremony taking place on Harvard's campus on February 28th. Tickets to the event are free, but you must have a Harvard ID to obtain them, so good luck Navy. #ShineBrightLikeADiamond
