Sinead O'Connor Apologizes To Arsenio Hall After Drug Accusations

While Prince's death last April caused emotions to run high, no one seemed to wild out as much as Irish singer-songwriter and sh*tstarter Sinead O'Connor. Upon news of the Purple One's passing, Sinead went off the rails on Facebook, implying that Arsenio Hall (whom she referred to as "Prince and Eddie Murphy's b***h") supplied Prince with drugs for decades and even accused him of spiking her drink at Eddie Murphy's house "years ago." Unsurprisingly, Arsenio quickly slapped her with a $5 million defamation suit. Now, O'Connor has issued an apology. "I apologize for my Facebook posts about Arsenio Hall to the extent that anyone thought I was accusing him of acting as Prince's drug dealer and supplying him with illegal hard drugs, or insinuating that Arsenio had something to do with Prince’s death," she said in the statement. "I sincerely apologize because those statements would be false, and I retract them unequivocally." After the statement was released, the offensive posts were removed and Arsenio's reps say that the suit will be dropped. #FunnyHowLawsuitsChangeSituations
