Things Are Out Of Focus For SiR In 'All In My Head'

Cali native SiR is getting ready to rock us with HER Too, the follow EP to his critically acclaimed EP HER, on February 10th. But before he does that, he's sending HER off with perhaps the final video from the set. The honor goes to the haunting track "All In My Head," a solid modern R&B groove that finds the singer questioning whether or not he's falling deep.

For the song's clip, the singer/songwriter and director aplus go surprisingly minimal. And we do mean minimal. The video is essentially one continuous shot and only involves one person: SiR himself. We see the new TDE signee ambling somewhat aimlessy through what looks to be either an empty warehouse or parking garage. While that does seem a bit strange, it does evoke the feel of the song, which seems to be mostly a conversation the singer is having with himself. Also helping to evoke the song's mood is the director's choice to shoot the clip mostly out of focus. The blurred effect picks up on the love-induced haze that SiR seems to be in given the song's lyrics.

Kudos to both the artist and director for effectively illustrating the song without the usual tricks and visual gimmicks we're used to. Check out the clip for "All In My Head" right here and look for HER Too this Friday.
