Jennifer Hudson Gives An Unforgettable Performance of 'Remember Me' On 'The Voice UK'

Jennifer Hudson is gearing up to release a new album, her debut project on her new label home Epic Records, soon. But, in the meantime, the powerhouse vocalist has been coaching musical hopefuls across the pond on The Voice UK. The show has benefited from J-Hud's musical prowess, with one lucky contestant even getting an impromptu lesson in how to use her voice properly from the established star during the blind auditions. But, just like its American cousin, The Voice UK is also in the business of helping its coaches promote their own material, which Jennifer did last night with a rousing rendition of her current single "Remember Me."

She took the stage in a sparkly, one-shouldered frock and bathed in red light, delivering the song's powerful first verse as she captured the audience's attention. Then, once she made her entrance, she walked down from her perch to be joined by a group of male dancers as she stood center stage. Say what you will about, Jennifer Hudson, but one thing she knows how to do is a work a crowd. Though the song itself is a slow burn, she had everyone (including legend and fellow coach Tom Jones) enraptured  — and that was before she even brought out the massive choir that joined her onstage.

For those of us who don't live in the UK, you can check out Jennifer's entire performance of "Remember Me" here. And, because we like you, you can also see her unplanned performance of her 2008 single "Spotlight" she did for the studio audience below as well.
