'Fresh Prince' Cast Reunites & Shade Monster Janet Hubert Attacks
It was all smiles when the cast of seminal '90s sitcom hit The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air had an impromptu reunion for castmember Karyn Parson's charity and shared a few snaps to the 'Gram. Fans of the show, of course, immediately fawned over their faves coming together once again. There were a couple people missing from the photo that sparked other discussions, though. The obvious one was James Avery, the actor who played beloved Uncle Phil, who sadly passed away in 2013 after complications due to heart surgery. The other was OG Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert, who is still carrying a 24-year-old chip on her shoulder about her unceremoniously being dropped from the hit show in 1993. To paraphrase Teddy Pendergrass, we think she needs to just let it go. But, of course, she couldn't let the joyous moment pass without throwing a season's worth of shade at the occasion, including calling Alfonso Ribeiro a "media hoe" [editor's note: *giggle*] and "a** wipe for Will [Smith]."
