Little Dragon are on a mission to captivate us with their upcoming album Season High, and they've done a fine job piquing our interest with the singles they've released thus far. After releasing the sensual "High" and electro-house party "Sweet," their latest single "Celebrate" switches it up and transports us back to the '80s for a wild ride laced with synth and funky percussion.
The track may give you Prince walking through Chinatown vibes, but the evolved sound is all Little Dragon with Yukimi Nagano's soulful voice tying it all together. If you're a hardcore LD fan, you may notice the song also features a guest appearance by Agge, who played guitar on "No Love" from the group's self-titled debut album.
Like their previous offerings, "Celebrate" has earned a spot in our playlists until we get the full Season High album on April 14th. If you can't wait until Friday, you can pre-order the new set right now on Amazon, iTunes and Google Play. Until then, press play and "Celebrate" the return of Little Dragon with us.
