Herbie Hancock Is Hitting The Road This Summer
This past Wednesday, jazz icon and living legend Herbie Hancock marked his 77th birthday. While most septuagenarians would celebrate such a milestone by relishing in their retirement, Herbie is doing things a bit differently by announcing a 35-city world tour this summer. Yes, you read that right. The accomplished Mr. Hancock will kick things off on June 26th at the Alfa Jazz Festival in Lviv, Ukraine, before making stops in Paris, Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Vienna, New York, D.C., Denver, Salt Lake City and Hollywood. Oh, and did we mention he'll have a full band in tow and that Chick Corea and Kamasi Washington will be joining him on select dates? You better get it, Herbie.
