The hills are alive with the sound of Goapele's music in the video for "Dreamseeker." So maybe she's not frolicking in Salzburg, but the songstress is instead giving us life in a yellow poppy field at the Carrizo Plain National Monument in San Luis Obispo, California. The namesake of her upcoming EP, "Dreamseeker" showcases Goapele's delicate side on the Mike Tiger-produced track. On top of twinkling keys and strings, Goapele sings, "I'm a lover, I'm a dreamer / I'm a hider, I'm a seeker."
The video directed by Sean Alexander gives a vibrant introduction to Dreamseeker, which arrives in just a few days on May 19th. A few seconds shy of two-minutes long, the video is short, sweet and showcases Goapele in various angles that all paint a stunning picture.
Dreamseeker only has one feature, with BJ The Chicago Kid lending his vocals to single "Stay." She has so far delivered "$ecret," with its nod to Aaliyah, and lead single "Power." The project about self-love, social consciousness, sensuality and motherhood, is sure to be worth a listen. Also worth a listen is Goapele live as she closes out her Dreamseeker Tour in her hometown of Oakland from May 18th to May 21st.
