Jamila Woods & Chance The Rapper Spread Chi-Town Love In 'LSD'

Jamila Woods' 2016 release HEAVN was a musical breath of fresh air. Lucky for us, the budding star is still rallying behind the project, dropping a video for her Chance the Rapper collaboration "LSD." Before you go clutching your pearls, "LSD" isn't about the psychedelic drug that was all the rage in the '60s. Instead, it's a loving ode to Lake Shore Drive, a road very familiar to the two Chicago natives. To that effect, the two get together, along with the help of a few folks from Chicago Public Schools, to show what their hometown is all about.

In the clip for the song, which samples Donell Jones' 1999 hit "Where I Wanna Be," we see Jamila taking advantage of the summer while cooling off in a kiddie pool and walking along the shore of Lake Michigan. The colorful clip then takes her to a lively backyard BBQ, where our main man Lil Chano is manning the grill while kicking his rhyme with the usual gusto. But the two stars aren't the only ones who put in for the Chi, as they manage to put together a collage of beautiful Black folks throughout the clip that shows Chicago as more than the headlines you see in the news.
