Makossa Cookout Ends Its Summer Series In Atlanta With Free Party This Weekend

Summer 2017 has been one for the books. It's not over yet, though! We're hanging on to the last few weeks of our favorite season and making the most out of these sunshiny days, sticky nights and way-too-short weekends. There's a lot going on all over the U.S. this last weekend in August, from festivals to functions to good old family fun. If you happen to live in the Atlanta area and are looking for something to do on Sunday, then we highly recommend the Makossa Cookout.

For those not in the know, the Makossa Cookout is the premier daytime summer soiree featuring live DJs, eclectic music, food, drinks and games. The event began in Brooklyn in 2010 and has since expanded to Los Angeles over the years. This summer, the Makossa Cookout spread its wings even further as part of Miller Lite's Kickback Series with a summer tour that's taken it to Charlotte and Chicago thus far. The last stop for the Makossa Cookout summer series is Atlanta, and this is one party that absolutely, positively cannot be missed.

Makossa Cookout Atlanta takes place this Sunday, August 27th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Noni's in downtown Atlanta. It will be quite a vibe with special guests Rich Medina and DJ Wally Sparks joining resident Makossa Cookout DJs Wonway Posibul, DJ Tara, DJ Shinobi Shaw and Haylow and host Dee Phunk. The lineup of DJs is crazy good, but the best news of all is that admission to this event is free with RSVP. Atlanta Bouncers, take our advice and RSVP now, tell your friends, get your outfit together, assemble your crew on Sunday and prepare to have a damn good time at Makossa Cookout Atlanta and to end the Makossa Cookout summer series in style.
