The funky divas known as En Vogue graced the stage of the 2017 Summer Spirit Festival with their sophisticated style and soulful sounds. The ladies were as stunning as ever dressed in all black coordinating outfits and delivering the amazing vocals they're known and loved for. Although the trio made up of Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron-Braggs and Rhona Bennett have some new music out and more on the way on their upcoming album Electric Cafe, their Summer Spirit Festival performance was all about their classic hits.
En Vogue kicked their show off with their heaven-sent harmonies on "Never Gonna Get It" before rocking out on "Free Your Mind." They brought the hip-hop vibes on "Whatta Man" and had all the good men in the audience basking in their unofficial theme music. One of the highlights of an En Vogue concert is always when they sing their hit song "Don't Let Go (Love)," and once again they didn't disappoint. The trio treated the audience to a medley of their inspirations and covered everyone from the Supremes to Chaka Khan. After putting their spin on a few legends, En Vogue dove into another classic with their world famous remake of "Giving Him Something He Can Feel." A concert by these divas wouldn't be complete without the first song to put them on the charts and in our hearts, and they saved "Hold On" for their grand finale much to the delight of every audience member singing and dancing along with them.
