After getting played by the BET Awards '17 in June and going on last after the epic New Edition tribute, SZA got the first performance slot on Black Girls Rock! 2017 and she truly shined. Dressed in an oversized coat and with her signature long tresses flowing, SZA bopped around the stage in front of the letters CTRL before launching into "Normal Girl." Our girl had everyone in the audience hanging onto her every word during her passionate, including presenter Maxwell who was leaned forward in his seat and all in. As he should have been because SZA sounded amazing live and rocked the stage with confidence and style.
