Rapper, producer and Washington, D.C. native Oddisee just dropped a loosie that will make you appreciate life and live instrumentals. "Never Lived" joins the unique roster of tracks curated weekly by the Adult Swim Singles Program team. The mid-tempo single is the program's 18th entry and precedes the release of animated visuals from Oddisee's recent album The Iceberg. The new offering about living life to the fullest opens with a bipolar beat that makes you think it's a technical glitch. It's all by design as the talented emcee shows he can rap without missing the beat. His faithful and skilled band GOOD COMPNY gives him the perfect assist as they maneuver around his lyricism, still providing the track with a jazzy hip-hop feel.
When he's not dropping dope music, you can always find Oddisee on the road. It's no surprise that the emcee just announced new dates for his latest jaunt, the Beneath The Surface Tour. Featuring GOOD COMPNY and Oliver St. Louis, the tour kicks off this week in Raleigh, North Carolina and goes overseas to Sweden, Denmark and Spain in October, ending in Heidelberg, Germany mid-November.
