Solange To Throw Benefit Concert To Aid Victims Of Hurricane Harvey
The aftermath of Hurricane Harvey has many celebs digging deep into their pockets to help the citizens of Houston who have been greatly affected by the flooding and damage that the storm has done. While folks like Kevin Hart have challenged the rich and famous to contribute a donation of $25,000 to relief efforts, others are finding different ways to give back. Take hometown girl Solange for instance. The A Seat At The Table songstress has announced that she's donating all the proceeds from her September 28th Orion's Rise concert in Boston — which will also feature the famed Sun Ra Arkestra — to relief efforts for the families and victims affected by the natural disaster. "I'm committed to partnering with organizations on the ground in Houston and making contributions to uplift the city that raised me with so much love," the star wrote on Instagram. #TexasStrong
