Lalah Hathaway Slammed By Fifth Harmony Fans For VMAs 'Shade'

Speaking of the VMAs and vapidness, somebody needs to tell Fifth Harmony to come get their fans. While the now-quartet pulled stunts and shows during their VMA performance, Lalah Hathaway took to Twitter to make a simple comment, saying, "5th Harmony - 4 girls singing 3 part harmony. Discuss." According to That Grape Juice, that was all it took for 5H fans to take offense, call "shade" (ed. note: They do sing in three-part harmony. A mere observation isn't shade.) and commence to "dragging" Lalah on social media for her "irrelevance." However, seeing as Lalah hails from musical royalty, can sing chords all by her damn self and, oh yeah, has five GRAMMY wins to her name (five more than Fifth Harmony, btw) she's far from irrelevant and we don't think Lalah is losing any sleep over the whining fans of the pop group. Besides, she clarified things in a Facebook post, concluding, "Say what you will — and sing all the parts you're able to — but never let it be said that I had an opinion about their performance." #StansBeGone
