Ugh: Justin Timberlake In Talks To Headline Super Bowl Halftime Show
Remember back in 2004 when, during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Justin Timberlake ripped off the cup of Janet Jackson's bustier, exposing her bare breast in the process. The event, dubbed Nipplegate, set tongues wagging and dealt Janet's career a blow which she still hasn't fully recovered from. JT, on the other hand, effectively threw Janet under the bus and saw his career rise meteorically rise. Fast forward some 13 years later, and rumor has it that the "Suit & Tie" singer is in talks to headline next year's Super Bowl. Friggin' really?! That he's even being considered when our girl Janet was effectively blackballed for years behind "the incident" is enough draw ire, but that either party would entertain this certainly speaks to a racist and sexist double standard at play. And they wonder why no one's watching the NFL these days. #EatASuperBowlOfD**ks
