While we wait for Gene Noble to release his upcoming album, he's not keeping us waiting any longer for the first music video from the project. The clip is for his current single "Never Know," which we recently world premiered, and it is as visually stunning as the song is aurally stimulating.
Director J. Lufair mainly focuses on Noble, his love interest and the Southern California scenery that surrounds them. According to Gene, the setting for the "Never Know" visual is directly related to the song's theme. "'Never Know' reflects all those ‘what if’ interactions we have on the daily. When you meet someone while you’re out, you never know what the outcome will be and since sky’s the limit, I decided to perform it in the sky.” No, Gene isn't jumping out of planes or on the wings of love, but he is cruising down a palm tree-lined street with nothing but blue skies and sunshine surrounding him as he sings into the camera. It's in his interactions with his curly-haired cutie at a beach house overlooking the Pacific Ocean where he really soars, however. Over the course of the video, we see how their random encounter at a party blossoms into romance and they're low-key giving us relationship goals.
"Never Know" is one of the many tracks that will be found on Gene Noble's upcoming sophomore album, now entitled Elevation. Gene shares that, "This project represents an elevation in my sound and in my career as well," and we're looking forward to hearing what this next level of his artistry sounds like. In addition to his new album, he'll be taking his live show to the people on the Who Is Gene Noble? Tour starting this November. Dates are already scheduled for November 3rd in Los Angeles, New York City on November 14th and Atlanta on November 17th.
