SB: Absolutely. You’ve also managed to go door to door via social media. I think you’re an artist who definitely uses it well. You show your personality but also promote the music and just your love of music. You know, watching you sit at the piano and just sing is amazing. How would say that social media has helped your career?

T: Well, it’s helped tremendously because people can actually see my personality. You know, I ran into so many people that were like, when they finally met me, they were like, “Oh, my God, we had no idea you were like this.” I’m like, “What do you mean?” [They say] “Well, based on your pictures, we kind of thought you might have been an asshole.” I'm like, “What? What are you talking about?” [laughs] I’m the funnest guy in the world. I’m like Willy Wonka. So it gives people an opportunity to see my true personality. Like, I’m just a goofball. I like to have fun. I like to do music. I like to play with my kids. I like to talk trash to my fiancé. You know what I’m saying? I’m just like you. You know? And I think people, being able to relate to that and see it firsthand, that’s given them an opportunity to, not just buy into the music, but actually buy into my character, as a person. And that’s made all the difference.

SB: Awesome. You mentioned that you have a lot of stuff in the works. Fitness, movies and more acting. Is there anything you can tell us right now about what you’re doing?

T: Not on the acting side, I can’t talk about that. But we are creating our own opportunities, I can say that. You know, we’re not waiting for nobody’s cameras, nobody’s film studio. We’re going to do it and also try and be a part of the big things that they are doing, as well. You know, we’re taking that completely independent approach on the movie side and television side, as we take on the music side.

My new artists DanteDontayDuntea and George Morris are signed to R&B Money, so you’re going to hear some new music from those guys soon. DanteDontayDuntea is actually opening on the tour, so you’ll see a lot of him. But it’s like I said, we’re trying to get these new opportunities.

We’re in the works of looking at some other artists that we’re probably going to sign up on the R&B Money. I want R&B Money to be that place for R&B music, where R&B artists feel comfortable coming and saying, “Hey, man. I want to do some R&B. Can you help me?” “Yes, you can. Yes, we can. You’ve come to the right place.” And so, that’s what we’re in the process of doing. A lot of people agree with us. A lot of people are investing with us, and we’re going to see how far we can take it.

SB: Hopefully you’ll find someone from your “Open for Tank” opportunity. That would be awesome.

T: I’m going to have my eye on it, yeah.

SB: So what makes your soul bounce?

T: What makes my soul bounce? I like that. That’s really dope, a dope question. Good music. Good food. Good music and good food make my soul bounce.
