Frank Ocean Beats His Father's Defamation Lawsuit

The reclusive Frank Ocean has one less reason to stress now that he's won the defamation suit his father filed against him. His father, Calvin Cooksey, originally filed the suit against the singer/songwriter last year after Ocean wrote an open letter  in the wake of the Pulse Orlando shootings. In the letter, Frank relayed a memory in which his father called a transgender waitress a "f****t." The judge presiding over the case ruled that Cooksey failed to show that Frank defamed him at all. While we're sure Frank is happy the case was decided in his favor, it has to still be a rough win for him. #BittersweetVictory
