Toni Braxton Goes Stylishly Cinematic In 'Deadwood'

Toni Braxton has some reasons to celebrate. For one, she's readying her first solo album in eight years, Sex & Cigarettes. But perhaps her biggest reason to celebrate happens this weekend when she turns the big 5-0 on Saturday! Never a selfish diva, she offers up a big gift to her fans with the release of the video for her latest single, "Deadwood."

Rather than be literal with the song's lyrics, Toni instead opts for the stylish and cinematic in the song's mostly black-and-white clip. We see cityscapes, falling diamonds and one fine, chocolate brotha flash on the screen before we realize that Toni's standing on a stage with a glowing mic as the scenes flash on a screen behind her. Draped in several tailored designs, the eldest Braxton sister vamps it up for the camera and she sells perhaps the most stylish look at heartache we've ever seen. The resilient diva has no problem selling the performance, though, managing to get us in our feels even as she smiles and essentially seduces the camera like the seasoned professional that she is.

Honestly, Ms. Braxton is making 50 look and sound kind of amazing. We can't wait to hear and see what else she'll have in store for us during the Sex & Cigarettes era. Get your first peek at what's to come when you check out the video for "Deadwood" below.
