Jhené Aiko is one of the many artists on the promo trail this fall. In her case, she's on her promo tour in support of her album Trip and her upcoming actual tour, Trip (The Tour). She's already stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform with her beau Big Sean to perform "Moments." Last night, she finished her NBC rounds by making an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers to deliver an enchanting performance of her track "While We're Young."
Jhené showed up for her appearance looking dazzling in a shimmery dress while her band of three, including a live harpist, delivered a dreamy musical backdrop. She took the song through its romantic paces, never really pushing it to the limits, but still engaging the audience with an occasional smile. Still, the simple performance was captivating, if for nothing else then the fact that you could feel the love of the lyrics through her warm vocals and overall giddy demeanor.
