SZA Takes 'The Tonight Show' Stage Once Again With 'Supermodel'

SZA has basically been the queen of New York City for the past week. The R&B chanteuse played a couple shows in the city before making her debut as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. However, she wasn't done showing the city love. Last night, she took to the stage on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the third time in her career to bless the audience (which included her parents) with an orchestral performance of her CTRL single "Supermodel."

It was obvious just by watching the singer's self-assured take on the program that her confidence and stage presence has grown. SZA's reimagined take on the song, much like her reimagined versions of "The Weekend" and "Love Galore," definitely added another layer to "Supermodel," building out the emotional resonance of the track. Also worth noting is that, unlike her turn on SNL, her nerves weren't as obvious here. In fact, SZA seemed way more into this performance as she added ad-libs and even got a bit bold as she reached into her upper register to bring the track home. Needless to say, the audience in the studio (and host Jimmy Fallon) definitely seemed into it and we're sure the audience at home probably was as well.

Because we know you (like us) are loving some SZA right now, we've got video of the five-time GRAMMY nominee doing her thing on The Tonight Show for your viewing pleasure below.
