Rihanna Mourns The Death Of Her Cousin
We offer our condolences to the family of Barbadian singer Rihanna. Though the singer has had a banner year, with the runaway success of her Fenty Beauty makeup line playing a big part in that, she's ending the year on a somber note. Just one day after celebrating Christmas with the family, RiRi's cousin Tavon Kaisene Alleyne was shot and killed on the island. The singer memorialized him with a post on Instagram, captioning the slideshow with a touching sentiment to her fallen loved one: "RIP cousin... can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man! 😢🙏🏿❤.” While any loss of life to senseless violence is tragic, what makes this even more upsetting is that the young man was only 21.
