Beyoncé, Eminem & The Weeknd To Headline 2018 Coachella Festival

The SoulBounce staff is bundling up and hunkering down to brace for impact from the "bomb cyclone" that's headed for the East Coast. These cold temps have our minds drifting ahead to warmer months and wishing for warmer climates, so the folks at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival picked the perfect time to announce their mega 2018 lineup.

The two-weekend-long binge concert is scheduled to take place on April 13th-15th and April 20th-22nd. And if you're wondering how epic it is, let's just say they should dub this year's festival "The Reign." Headliners Beyoncé ("Queen Bey"), The Weeknd ("King of the Fall") and Eminem (self-professed "Rap God") could sell out the festival all by themselves. But to fully appreciate the magnitude of this lineup, it's also worth noting that the announcement heralds an unprecedented move. For the first time in Coachella's nineteen-year history, there are no top-billed rock acts. In fact, the festival schedule – which still features a stacked, diverse assortment of artists – is dominated by varied hip-hop, soul-pop and R&B acts.

In addition to the powerful troika of Mrs. Carter (who kept her promise after bowing out of last year's event due to the impending arrival of twins, Rumi and Sir), Mr. Tesfaye and Mr. Mathers, concertgoers can expect unforgettable sets from SoulBounce faves like: 6LACK, Alina Baraz, Aminé, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Chloe x Halle, Daniel Caesar, Dej Loaf, Ibeyi, Jamiroquai, Jessie Ware, Jidenna, Jorja Smith, Kali Uchis, Kamasi Washington, Kelela, Lion Babe, Miguel, Moses Sumney, Noname, Snakehips, SZA, Tank And The Bangas, THEY., Tom Misch and Vince Staples. Plus, Cardi B, Migos, Tyler the Creator and more. California knows how to party!

Go ahead, take a moment to let it all sink in. But don't take too long, because a lineup like this is bound to sell-out quickly. View the concert poster below for a full schedule of artists, then head to the Coachella website on January 5th to purchase your passes before they're gone.
