Seal Accused Of Sexual Battery By Neighbor
Seal made the news last week for accusing Oprah of hypocrisy after she evoked both the #MeToo and Time's Up movements in her dynamic Golden Globes speech, but maybe he should've been pointing fingers at the mirror too. This week, the "Crazy" singer was accused of sexual battery by his former neighbor, Tracey Birdsall. According to Birdsall, she went to Seal's residence to retrieve a borrowed salad spinner when the singer "lunged at her" and attempted to kiss her and force himself on her. She's filed a report against the singer and the LAPD are investigating the claim. For his part, Seal denies the allegations. "Seal vehemently denies the recent accusations made against him by a former neighbor for alleged misconduct of more than a year ago," he relayed via a statement from his publicist. "He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations.” #DamnHomie
