Daniel Caesar's Voice Is The 'Best Part' Of His 'COLORS' Performance

It's safe to say that Daniel Caesar owned the latter half of 2017 thanks in part to his GRAMMY-nominated breakthrough album, Freudian. One of our favorite songs on the album was the gorgeous duet "Best Part," on which he shared vocal duties with SoulBounce fave H.E.R. The two young talents put their angelic voices to good use on the sweet ballad. Caesar recently made a stop in Berlin where he blessed the COLORS web studio with an equally-delectable live performance of the song that put his buttery delivery on full display, proving that the hype has been well-deserved.

Although he was sans his duet partner, Caesar effortlessly fills in for H.E.R., showcasing his falsetto for her opening verse. Standing in a khaki-colored room in front of a microphone, he breezes through the song, all while holding a coffee mug that he sips from occasionally. His voice is clear, easily fluctuating from delicate to powerful. His eyes remain closed throughout most of the performance as he pours his heart and soul into the song. The clip is just the latest example that the young Canadian's talent is the real deal.

His stop in Berlin is just the most recent live performance of Caesar's to make its way onto the internet. Earlier this month, he wowed the audience at BBC Radio 1xtra's Maida Vale Studios with his intimate performance. With a touring schedule filled to the brim with both festival and live performances around the globe, there's no doubt that we'll be hearing about this talented crooner for years to come.
