With a range of influences from Billie Holiday to Nina Simone to Aretha Franklin to Sharon Jones, Liberty Jones takes a cue from those legends with a voice that is uniquely soulful. Producer B. Forrest harnesses that soul on "Anyway Love" with organ, horns, electric guitar and live drums laying a funky foundation for Liberty to go to town. She sings about the push-and-pull of a love that survives and thrives regardless of any obstacles. "You love me anyway / I love you anyway / Despite what you do / Despite what I say / We love anyway," Liberty makes it plain and breaks it down on the bridge.

"I wrote this song almost five or six years ago in my living room during the time of my involvement in a very interesting relationship, to say the least," Liberty shared with us about her inspiration for the song. "It took B. Forrest, my musical husband/producer, and a village of amazingly talented musicians to birth it and make it beautiful." Kudos to Liberty and her musical village for creating this real deal song about the truth about love.
