Surprisingly, there has never been a biopic about our Queen Of Soul Aretha Franklin, whose personal story is no doubt fascinating. However, at Clive Davis annual GRAMMY gala, it was announced that one is indeed in the works. Not only that, it was discovered that the soul legend has tapped Jennifer Hudson to play her in the film. Yes, Aretha handpicked J-Hud. We honestly couldn't imagine someone better for the job, though it will be interesting to see how the singer will handle potraying the legend through the many stages of her career, which has spanned six decades.
