Kelis Buys The Farm (Literally) As She Begins To Expand Her Food Career
Kelis has been all about her career as a chef as of late, and she's gone ahead and taken a big step in that direction. After hinting that she might buy a farm, she revealed that she did just that during a recent podcast appearance. “In this past year I’ve kinda felt like I need a restaurant,” she said while appearing on The Founder Hour. “I need a space where I can actually be creative and I can do this on a daily basis. That being really necessary for me. I decided yeah, well how do I do that in staying with who I am and in the realm of control that I like to have. So I felt like, you know what, let’s do a farm.
