Our girl Jill Scott just celebrated another revolution around the sun yesterday, turning 46 years young. While we're sure she celebrated in her own way, she's giving fans a reason to rejoice with the announcement that she'll be going on tour this summer to bring her unique musical stylings to a city near you.
Dubbing it the "Live In The Moment Tour," the singer-songwriter will be bringing her talents to the stage for 14 dates in 13 cities, including appearances at this year's ESSENCE Music Festival and the Cincinnati Jazz Festival. When she's not rocking festival audiences, she'll be rocking it solo dolo in Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, her native Philly, Washington, DC and a few more cities along the way.
"Hitting the road, being vulnerable and sharing my music with fans is the most fulfilling part of being an artist," Jill said in a press release. "I look forward to giving love, light and living in the moment with everyone this summer."
