Jorja Smith Takes Her 'Blue Lights' To 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' & 'COLORS'

Fresh from rocking the stage at Coachella's first weekend, British songstress Jorja Smith brought her talents to Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night for her late-night TV debut. She performed the melancholy track about street violence and stereotypes to a welcoming audience. With the stage lit in calming blue hues, the singer proceeded to hypnotize the in-studio and at-home audience with her unique vocals and chill delivery. Backed by a live band, the songstress delivered an effortless performance of her 2016 single. Given the subject matter, the track sounds just a little sweeter coming from Jorja but still carries the gravitas needed to get the point across.

Smith is making the rounds with "Blue Lights," also stopping through the COLORS web studio in Berlin to deliver another performance of the viral hit. Against a slate blue backdrop, the songstress looked cool, calm and collected as she performed the track dressed in an all-black outfit with her long braids pulled up into a ponytail.

Both performances let us know that blue is definitely Jorja's color and that "Blue Lights" deserves some more attention. This week, Jorja embarks a North American tour with fellow UK singer Ama Lou and plans to hit a few stops across the country including San Francisco, Portland, Detroit, Boston, New York City and more before she ventures to Europe and Asia starting in June. Many dates are already sold out, but you can check to see where she'll be playing and ticket availability on her website. If you won't get a chance to see Jorja Smith on tour this go-round, basking in the "Blue Lights" of these performances is the next best thing.
