George Clinton, Parliament, Scarface & Mudbone Deliver A Funk-Fueled Fantasy In 'I'm Gon Make U Sick O'Me'

If you're feeling under the weather, legendary group Parliament is here to cure you with the power of funk. In their latest visual offering for their song "I'm Gon Make U Sick O'Me," their first single in 38 years, the funky crew led by George Clinton joins forces with Gary "Mudbone" Cooper and rapper Scarface to take charge of a hospital, providing pointed commentary about America's medical system.

On "I'm Gon Make U Sick O'Me," Parliament administers a healthy dose of funk with their signature sound laced with guitar, horns and percussion as the foundation for Clinton to work his magic. In the video, George and company are joined by a trio of background singers who go by the name Kandy Apple Redd and lend their vocals to the mix. Mudbone provides some smooth vocals during the bridge, as the video takes off into a fantasy. Scarface appears on the scene as "Dr. Feel Good," sporting a white lab coat and glasses as he makes his rounds around the hospital ward and delivers his verse. Throughout the video, Clinton is the ringleader of all things comical as he gets to know some of the naughty nurses. The video is beyond trippy but entertaining to watch Scarface and Clinton play doctor and patient.

While George Clinton plans to retire from performing at the end of his tour in 2019, we're glad that he's still going strong in the lead up to his retirement with projects like"I'm Gon Make U Sick O'Me." Press play and get funked up with Parliament and friends.
