The Suffers Give Some Love To The 'Mammas' For Mother's Day

The Suffers are back and bringing their soulful sounds to the masses once again in 2018. They've already announced the impending arrival of their new album, Everything Here, on July 13th. They've already thrilled us with a couple new singles and now they aim for our heartstrings with their latest video for new track "Mammas."

As the song's title hints at, "Mammas" is a dedication to the women who raised us. The song deals in their signature layered soul — with keys, rhythm guitar, bass and horns creating a lush, comforting soundbed for lead singer Kam Franklin's bigger-than-life vocals. She sings of the struggles and celebrations that motherhood brings while reminding the listener to show their moms love and appreciation for all they do. The video doubles down on the feel-good vibe by showcasing mothers of all stripes — young, old, gay, straight, black, white, expecting, experienced and everything in between. In a rather touching scene, the band also have an extra special moment with their own mothers, as each member is shown embracing their mothers and sharing a few laughs.

With Mother's Day coming this Sunday, it's great timing and a fitting tribute to all the ladies out there raising their children with love and understanding. Peep The Suffers' video below and then make sure to send your own mamas some love this weekend and every day that you can.
