SZA Cancels Championship Tour Performances Due To Swollen Vocal Cords
Get well wishes are being sent out to TDE first lady SZA after it was announced that the singer has been temporarily removed from the label's The Championship Tour due to swollen vocal cords. Labelhead Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith made the announcement on Instagram, writing in a note, "Her vocal cords are swollen and she have to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage.” SZA also confirmed the news, telling her fans that it had been a persisting occurrence for a while now. "I’ve been touring for 11 months. This didn’t happen overnight," she wrote. "[I've] been troubleshooting for a while now and Usually steroids and pushing through help. They don’t this time.
