Trillectro Returns To The DMV With SZA, 2 Chainz, The Internet & More

After sitting out 2017, the Trillectro festival is back in a big way for 2018. The one-day festival, which unites the best of hip-hop, rap, trap, R&B and electronic music, returns to the DMV's Merriweather Post Pavillion on September 22nd with a lineup that counts SZA, 2 Chainz and The Internet among its top performers.

In addition to those artists, the festival's lineup is also set to include performances by Snoh AalegraYoung ThugPlayboi CartiRico NastySmokepurpp and a special appearance by Carnage. In addition to spotlighting such big-name acts, Trillectro also provides a platform for local area acts like Chicken & Mambo Sauce, Innnanet James, Good Intent, Beau Young Prince and others to shine.

The return of the festival also marks a triumphant return to the stage for SB fave SZA, who recently experienced a health scare after suffering potentially permanent damage to her vocal cords, which caused her to cancel several shows on the TDE Championship Tour. Luckily for her (and her fans), it would prove to be only temporary, with her tweeting that her voice was on the mend and she would proceed with her shows as scheduled.
