This fall we're getting New Orleans funk, soul and bounce all wrapped in a perfect bow in the form of a tour. Five-piece band Tank and The Bangas and bounce rapper Big Freedia — along with special guest Naughty Professor — will co-headline North American tour dates this fall. The Head Banga Tour will include stops in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Portland and more, kicking things off in October in Washington, DC and wrapping it all up in Los Angeles in November.
Tank and The Bangas are on a winning streak and still show no signs of slowing down after recently inking a new label deal with Verve Forecast, and the release of their latest upbeat single "Smoke.Netflix.Chill." Big Freedia was recently featured on Drake's single "Nice for What" and in his New Orleans-set "In My Feelings" video. With high-profile features, including a recent collaboration with Lizzo, Big Freedia also released her latest EP Third Ward Bounce in June.
Lucky for all of us, we can catch both New Orleans successes on The Head Banga Tour in just a few months.
