Jennifer Lopez Set To Receive Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award At VMAs
Believe it or not, we're coming up on 20 years of Jennifer Lopez's musical career. While the Puerto Rican bombshell has scored more than a few jams in that time, she's probably best known for her amazing visuals in which she puts both her acting and dancing skills to good use along with the music. It's fitting, then, that Jenny From The Block is set to be this year's recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at the Video Music Awards. “Their videos inspired me to do the videos that I did,” she said of joining the ranks of some of her idols. “So now to be 20 years in and here and winning this award, it’s mind-blowing.” J. Lo will also take the stage to perform, marking the first time she's done so in 17 years. #JLoTheVanguard
