Bounce-Worthy: Radiant Children

Issa Rae's hit HBO show, Insecure, has done a great job at capturing the struggle young black millennials are facing while navigating their careers and love lives. Another thing the show has been great at doing is showcasing music's latest and brightest indie artists to a worldwide audience. SB faves like  VanJessRoman GianArthur and Anna Wise have all reaped the rewards of having their music featured on the critically-acclaimed series. The latest artist to join this exclusive group of cool kids is the U.K.-based band Radiant Children.

Fabienne HollowayTyler Acord and Marco Bernardis were formally introduced to the world during Insecure’s season 3 premiere when their single, “Life’s a B***h,” played during the show’s closing credits. On a show where all of the music is always on point, Radiant Children managed to stand out, leaving everyone (this writer included) scrambling to find out just who was behind the funky song. Not bad for the debut single of a group that got together to create music of their own after lending their talents to other musical artists over the years. In fact, Tyler has already enjoyed success behind the scenes, producing music for the likes of VanJess and Gallant under the moniker Lophiile.
