Ella Mai Plans October Release Of Self-Titled Debut Album

Ella Mai has been the toast of the town this year thanks to her massive hit "Boo'd Up." The triple-platinum song put Ella on the charts and on everyone's radar as R&B's newest starlet. In recent weeks, she's since released another catchy bop, 'Trip," and recently premiered the song's music video. Miss Mai is deciding to strike while the iron is hot and has finally announced the release of her highly anticipated debut album and revealed key details about the project.

Taking to social media (where she got her start) to share the big news, Ella unveiled the release date, title and cover art in one fell swoop. The self-titled album is scheduled to drop on Friday, October 12th, and the songstress gives us a confident, smoldering stare in the photograph on the cover. Her massive mane of curls frame her face, and she jazzes up her wardrobe a bit with a dusty pink fur coat serving up casual couture.

The album will contain 16 tracks, including the aforementioned "Boo'd Up" and 'Trip" as well as the song "Naked." Ella Mai will be executive produced by DJ Mustard and released on his 10 Summers record label. The album is currently available for pre-order on multiple digital platforms and all pre-orders will receive her singles as instant grat tracks. While you wait for Ella Mai to drop, take a deep dive into her catalog and binge listen to previously released EPs, Time, Change and Ready.
