Lloyd got pretty revealing for his latest album Tru — and we're not just talking about the project's salacious artwork. The 11-song album, which Lloyd called his "most thoughtful and love-inspired music" yet, gave us a glimpse into the life, love and lust of Mr. Polite that we've never seen before. And with the video for his single "Excited," which is the first visual from the set, he shows us yet another unexpected side.
Being that the song mentions a few dance moves (which can also be interpreted as sexual innuendoes) in its chorus, it's no surprise that the crooner has decided to take the video as the opportunity to show off some fancy footwork. The video's concept is fairly simple: Lloyd walks onto a video set and is surrounded by beautiful women as he grooves to the S.O.S. Band-sampling beat. When not surrounded by the gorgeous ladies, he's flanked on either side by a couple male dancers with whom he cuts more than a few steps. We haven't seen Lloyd move like this since back in his "Get It Shawty" days, but it's nice to see that he's still got the moves whenever he decides to whip them out.
