Craig David & Stefflon Don Join Nile Rodgers & Chic For Good Times In 'Sober'

After a decades-long wait, a new Chic album was finally released late last month. So what's there to do now? Party, of course! Nile Rodgers & Chic do just that with their new single and video "Sober." The lively track features guest vocals from UK singer Craig David and rapper Stefflon Don and is easily one of the standouts from Chic's new project. They translate the song's feel-good vibes to the visual while adding a few futuristic and even scientific elements.

The clip opens with Nile playing musical/scientific guru as he speaks on heading to the famed Abbey Road Studios to create a musical experiment. After some admittedly cool visual effects, we get to the heart of the matter. The '90s-influenced groove of the song kicks up and we get a eyeful of Craig David in all his handsome glory. It's literally a party and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. Craig works the crowd as young and old alike hobnob side by side and Niles watches over with his guitar at the ready. The good times keep going when Stefflon Don's verse comes in, though it seems the raptress couldn't make the video shoot. Though we're sure she would've taken the turn-up even further, the fellas hold things down quite nicely up until the very end, when Nile signs off.

"Sober" is just one of the many jams found on It's About Time, which landed on September 28th. Get into the video right here and make sure you pick up the album from your favorite retailer.
