It's been about a month since Seinabo Sey released her sophomore album I'm A Dream, and it hasn't left heavy rotation. It's should be no surprise that this collection has gotten serious play over the past few weeks after she impressed us with a succession of singles and visuals prior to its drop. One of those singles that had us jamming from jump was the infectious groove "Good In You," and now Seinabo literally keeps the party going in the song's music video.
Filmed on location in Stockholm, director Senay Berhe captures Seinabo and a large group of friends laughing, dancing, partying and basically having all the fun. Sey and her homies are quite a beautiful bunch thanks to their gorgeous range of skin tones, hairstyles and overall swag. Not only is everyone's melanin popping, but stylist/designer Selam Fessahaye enhanced it all with her colorful wardrobe styling (in many of her own designs). When she's not hanging with her girls, Sey is seen hugged up and loving on her man, who we're sure is the inspiration for lyrics like, "Hope that you can read what's on my mind" and "Cause with you I'm forever." Seinabo and company are living their best lives throughout the "Good In You" visual, and the singer simply radiates joy and happiness.
European audiences will soon get to experience Seinabo Sey's joy, happiness and damn good catalog of music when she goes on tour in November. Dates, locations and tickets can be found on her website. Although there's no word yet on when she'll take her show to the U.S., we're hopeful that 2019 will bring her across the pond.
