Ashanti Concert Canceled After Only 24 Tickets Sold
It's hard out here for former Murder Inc. superstars. Just ask Ashanti. The former princess of the Inc. had to recently cancel a performance because only 24 tickets were sold. The performance was to have taken place at New York's Stony Brook University for their "Back To The Brook" event, and the school is taking full responsibility for the cancellation. "As an organization, we do our best to host programs for students while providing diversity and inclusion," they said in a statement. "However, we have struggled to execute certain aspects. With only a week before the concert, only 24 tickets were sold to students." Of course, that hasn't stopped King of Petty 50 Cent from trolling her. Commenting on a post about the event, Fif wrote, "Do Basement parties then it can still feel like it’s lit." Ashanti wasn't amused, clapping back in a statement to TMZ saying, "Officer Curtis better cut it out." #ColdWorld
