Pharrell Threatens To Sue Trump For Use Of 'Happy' During Rallies

Celebs have been letting #45 have it over using their songs during his hatemongering rallies. The latest to let Trump know that he ain't havin' it is none other than Pharrell Williams. The producer/singer/songwriter got wind that Orange Foolius used his ubiquitous hit "Happy" at a recent rally (that also fell on the day of the recent mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue) and has threatened to sue if he continues to do so. "Pharrell has not, and will not, grant you permission to publicly perform or otherwise broadcast or disseminate any of his music,” Pharrell's attorney Howard E. King wrote in a cease-and-desist letter. "The use of ‘Happy’ without permission constitutes copyright infringement." At this point, Trump lovers are going to be stuck with hearing songs in the public domain, though we doubt they'd be to disappointed in that. #FightThePower #AndVoteInTheMidterms
