Aaron Camper Contemplates Love & Dreams On 'D.O.L.'

New Aaron Camper is always welcome around SBHQ. The singer-songwriter has constantly impressed, whether it be his unique covers of our favorites or his own material. When he dropped his last EP HI-DEF at the top of last year, we were most definitely here for it and we're also here for his newest song "D.O.L."

"D.O.L.," which stands for "dreaming out loud," finds Aaron reminiscing on love. The verses find him singing about all the things they used to do. From their lovemaking to quiet moments, he paints a picture-perfect relationship with his lyrics, letting her know that "can't nobody take me where your love goes." Though it all seems pretty ideal, something has his lady love looking at the door and leaving him lost in his dreams. Assisting him in creating his dreamscape is producer Kenneth "NSFR" Wright, who creates a haunting, dream-like sound thanks to sighing synths, backward snares and other elements that make it feel like we're waking in a dream alongside Aaron.

The singer has said that this particular track is a one-off affair but promises there are more "deliveries" to come this year. Whatever those might be, we'll definitely be on the lookout for them. Until then, we highly recommend you gave Aaron Camper's your undivided attention when you press play below.
