Nicki Minaj Pulls Out Of BET Experience & BET Awards After Disrespectful Tweet
We're pretty sure that someone at BET is out of a job right now. That's because someone on the network's social media team thought it'd be cute to come for Queen rapper Nicki Minaj while celebrating Cardi B's historic GRAMMY win. While tweeting out an article congratulating Cardi, the offending tweeter also wrote, "Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront." Of course, this was peeped by Nicki's Barbz, who made sure that she saw it. The rapper, known for her petty, didn't take too kindly to the network disparaging her and she pulled the ultimate flex. Seeing as she and her Young Money cohorts were one of the big acts set to rock the stage at this year's BET Experience and BET Awards, she politely pulled her and their participation in any of the aforementioned events. "Young Money will no longer be [a part] of the BET Experience or award show," she tweeted in response. "Summer Tour dates dropping soon." Of course, the network, realizing the error of their ways, tried to smooth things over with an apology saying that "BET loves Nicki Minaj." Too bad somebody on their social team didn't realize that. #AllClicksAintGoodClicks
