Ariana Grande Won't Be Performing At GRAMMYs
Don't look for Ariana Grande to perform at the GRAMMYs this year (or any time soon, honestly). The young starlet pulled out of the ceremony after what the show's producer Ken Erlich said was an inability to "pull something together" in such a short time. But after Ariana got wind of what was said, she took to Twitter and determined that was a lie. "[I]’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me," Ari wrote on the microblogging site. "i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more." She went on to say that she offered up "3 songs" that she could perform but that she and the producers couldn't come to an agreement on what she would perform, prompting the performance to be dashed altogether. Ariana won't be the only one not performing, though. In an AP interview, Erlich also mentioned that they reached out to nominees Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino to perform and each fella turned them down. #Yikes
