NAO Brings Her 'Orbit' To NPR Music's 'Tiny Desk Concert' Series

Two albums in, British singer-songwriter NAO has managed to captivate listeners all over with her unique voice and approach to R&B. The release of her album Saturn recently gave her a reason to return back to the United States for a spate of North American tour dates. While doing that, she made some time in her busy schedule to sit at the NPR offices and participate in their famed Tiny Desk Concert series.

NAO delivered a performance that consisted mainly of selections of her most recent effort, starting with her single "If You Ever," which was made even more romantic and heavenly thanks to her skilled band and backing vocalists. She then surprised with a revisit to 2016's For All We Know with emotional track "Bad Blood." After taking them back, she brought things back to the present with Saturn track "Orbit," with the ballad pulling on the audience's heartstrings. Upon grabbing everyone's undivided attention with that one, NAO decided to end the experience with "Make It Out Alive." Though the song's guest SiR wasn't available to make a cameo, she and the band made due as they closed out the set with enough energy and vigor that he wasn't missed.

Since we don't know when NAO will make it back to the US, if you happened to miss her this time around this intimate set might be the next best thing. Check her out doing her thing for Tiny Desk below.
